Fabric recommendations: Medium to heavy weight wovens such as dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, rigid denim, wool suiting, corduroy, cotton twill, or canvas. For the lining, use a lightweight woven such as cotton voile, linen, or wool, or a barrier lining for a waterproof coat.
